Where/which file do I add this to? iax.conf?

Try adding telemenabled=255 to your node stanza.

Some advice about YSFGateway #mmdvm_bridge

Edited

Hi all,
by watching the logs of the MMDVM_Bridge while transmitting in YSF I noticed a major difference if I'm transmitting with DVSwitch instead of DMR2YSF mode (with my DMR radio). Here are the related logs

TX WITH DVSWITCH

Basically the difference is in the fact that DVSwitch does NOT transmit the DT1 packets (that instead are transmittend on end by the DMR2YSF mode).
And since in DMR2YSF mode I manage to get across the Wires-x side, I wonder if that is the key to solve the problem of not getting through with DVSwitch.
Of course I'm no expert here but what I ask is: is there a way to send these DT1 packets with DVSwitch?

I naively tried to add them to  the YSFGateway.ini under the "General" stanza but to no avail

[General]
Callsign=IK7VXC
# Suffix=RPT
Suffix=ND
Id=222696799
RptAddress=127.0.0.1
RptPort=3200

LocalPort=4200
WiresXMakeUpper=1
WiresXCommandPassthrough=1
Daemon=1
DT1=01,22,61,5F,2B,03,11,00,00,00

Either it's much more complicated than that or I'm probably completely off altogether (so please be nice :) ).

A word of wisdom is much appreciated.

Thank you

IK7VXC Mike

PS: PROGRESS UPDATE!

After adding the following to the General stanza:

RadioID=*****
FICHCallsign=2

If you guys have any suggestions, I'm all ears

Thank you

Re: New Setup disconnects

Paul Colledge

Just answering my own recently posted question.  I'm using HamVoIP.

Going into menu option 11 (Run Asterisk CLI Client) showed what was happening during the connection with the error being 'Cannot find specified system node 1998'.

My extensions.conf read:

exten => 56194,1,Answer
exten => 56194,n,Playback,rpt/node
exten => 56194,n,Playback,digits/1
exten => 56194,n,Playback,digits/9
exten => 56194,n,Playback,digits/9
exten => 56194,n,Playback,digits/8
exten => 56194,n,Set(CALLERID(num)=0)
exten => 56194,n,Rpt,1998|P|${CALLERID(name)} ;;; The "CallerID" from IAXRpt

Change the 1998 on the last line to also be your Node Number, so for me:

exten => 56194,n,Rpt,56194|P|${CALLERID(name)} ;;; The "CallerID" from IAXRpt

The post here (https://dvswitch.groups.io/g/main/topic/77699649) explains it.  The file is built with a script auto-inserting your Node Number, but the 1998 on the last line is hard coded (and shouldn't be).

Note that I had to do a full reboot of HamVoIP for the change to take effect (a 'restart Asterisk Server' is NOT sufficient), but it's now successfully connecting.

So, now I know what I'm dealing with. Did you start with a fresh HamVoIP image?
Do you have a radio connected?

Steve,
Yes, the host is running both DVSwitch and AllStar. The DVSwitch is supposed to be connected to Allstar private node 1999. I'm able to connect that node to my public node 46040 but I do not receive audio from node 1999. I am trying to connect to the server with both my mobile and a Linux client. My mobile does register but will not allow me to make changes to the server. Linux appears to not connect to the server at all.

Chris,
So that I understand. You have a host running DVSwitch Server. Is it also running AllStar? You are trying to connect to your DVSwitch Server with Mobile via USRP?

Thanks Steve,
I searched and followed a message here on groups.io. That install went smooth and seem to work. I had DVSwitch for years now using it for IAX connections to my Allstarlink nodes. I set it up base on the DVSwitch manual I found here in the file section. I'm using USRP.

Analog_Reflector is already installed. There is the documentation to configure it. <http://dvswitch.org/Analog_Reflector.pdf>

You have 2 choices as to control.
1: As you are configured, use DTMF or DVSwitch Mobile in IAX mode to control the bridge
2: Enable and configure Analog_Reflector so that you can use DTMF from AllStar or DVSwitch Mobile in USRP mode.

I got the node working. The ports were reversed in the iax.rpt file. Now I just need a way to control it.

The screenshot you sent is USRP not IAX. You are trying to connect to IP address of 127.0.0.1 which is local host, nit the IP address of the node.
