Re: IPSC to IPSC question?

Jamie R. Cid <jay@...>

This is a very simple call/packet router for Homebrew Repeater Protocol. It
will forward traffic from any system to all other systems configured in the
hblink.py configuration file. It does not check for call contentions or
filter TS/TGID combinations. It should really only be used as a proxy to
hide multiple Homebrew repater protocol systems behind what appears as a single
repeater, hotspot, etc.

As is, this program only works with group voice packets. It could work for all
of them by removing a few things.

No,

I just meant that it works with pi-star using that id. In fact its still listed in my BM dash from when I was using pi-star...

Not weird. It has to do with the size of the address space and how it’s divided up, how it’s supposed to work, and how certain network side implementations are violating ETSI DMR spec for radio IDs.

Well,
I still question the ID, but I could be wrong. Either HB or BM may not like it.
I would try your real DMR ID

For 3108 the password is passw0rd and the port is 62031

Is the port number valid for the master you are connecting to?
Is the password valid for the master you are connecting to?
316202502 is 9 digits, Depending on the master, I don't think it's valid.

DVSwitch Coders,

Thanks again for you contributions. Your group has accomplished some pretty cool things since the initial commit to Github June 27th, 2013.

I would like to connect to DMRPlus.
I have an IPSC2 server instance running and it is connected to the DMRPlus Global Network

IPSC2 <--->IPSC_Bridge<--->DMRLink<--->Mototrbo Repeater

What kind of connection to I create to my IPSC2 server?

Re: IPSC to IPSC question?

So I edited the hblink.cfg and added BM in the repeater section, it logs into BM successfully but then i get an MSTNAK from BM and the connection drops...

Whats this about? lol

Re: IPSC to IPSC question?

Do you happen to have a sample config for HB_Bridge to connect to BM 3108?

Just not seeing it yet...

Good question!

I'll test and report back. The whole point of wanting to do this is so I
can have YSF2DMR connected locally rather than having to go out and back
to BM which causes quite a bit of latency.

Peter,
Can you give us a simple diagram of what you are doing?

Hi All,

I've been linking my asl node to BM direct using Analog_Bridge and
HBlink-HB_Bridge, this has been working perfectly.

I'm trying to use a another instance of HBlink to create a local
proxy
for HBlink-HB_Bridge, YSF2DMR and an mmdvm_hs, its working fine apart
from a very loud audio screech being heard at the end of every
transmission coming from ASL on DMR.

Any suggestions?
