You will have to convert it to Centos (rpm)
It's been a long time since I used a RPM based system but apt-get install does just that install a package.

P25 <-> DMR Transcoding

Bryan Biedenkapp

I've gotten the basics of the transcoding to work on my private testing systems to work (mostly). The configuration I'm using look like this:
[MMDVM with DMR only] <-> [MMDVM_Bridge] <-> [Analog_Bridge] <-> [Analog_Bridge] <-> [MMDVM_Bridge] <-> [P25 Gateway] <-> [P25 Reflector] <-> [P25 Gateway] <-> [MMDVM with P25 only]

I can see traffic from the DMR side pass all the way thru and I do get P25 out. However, I've noticed I seem to lose the originating subscriber/source radio ID and target/destination talkgroup ID. Is there any way to somehow retain this information when transcoding? Or because of the nature of the transcode will this information always be lost?

Thanks Steve , I was  also  hitting a  wall about  this problem .  I will highlight this one in my book.

A new installation  from scratch  was having  latency_timer at 16 .

Do you see any reason why my original installation  after update suddenly showed that problem also..

Re: HELP needed for building a bridge from TeamSpeak to either YSF, ASL or wires-X ??.

Good evening Steve,

Thank you for your helpful reply above, to date we have managed
to complete most of the linking, however, our Achilles heel right
now is the linking from TeamSpeak through to Zoiper. Is there
any chance that you can help us through this minefield please?

We have our own 250 slot TeamSpeak server if you would like to pop over,
or maybe a step by step would be equally as Cool, Zoiper is on a live stream
using IAX on AllStar.

Warmest Regards
Joe G7kdz.
