Welcome to DVSwitch
DVSwitch is a set of tools and programs related to provisioning and operating Amateur Radio digital voice networks.
Purpose
The purpose of DVSwitch is as follows:
1) Allows “local” networking during an outage of the regional national/international network server.
2) Allows a local network operator to “blend” upstream feeds from different Networks (capital N on purpose). These Networks can’t get their act together and learn how to play nice with each other (everyone guilty as far as we are concerned). They may not like people doing this, but the solution is to grow up and work with each other, and not keep trying to force people to take sides.
3) Allows local segregation of localized traffic with more flexibility.
4) Allows experimentation with linking and how it’s done (part 97 specifies experimentation and advancement of the radio art are a core part of amateur radio).

Mission Statement/Position
Our stated position is:
WHEREAS the Networks continue to be largely islands and are not working together to create a unified network of Networks.
WHEREAS no firm reason has been given by any of the Networks why a *competent* local network operator cannot make this work effectively.
(US ONLY)
WHEREAS 47 CFR 97 (Amateur Radio Service) specifies that a core component of amateur radio is experimentation and advancement of the radio art [97.1(b)].
BE IT RESOLVED the core group of US amateur radio operators and experimenters organized around the DVSwitch project, and in the spirit of USA 47 CFR 97 and its intentions, support the *responsible* and *thoughtful* use of digital voice networking tools to create localized networks that will interconnect to the national/international Networks, and will support users of its tools in order to do this in the most effective and sustainable way possible.

Changing the password is not going to do you any good. The password
for US Masters is "passw0rd" It's either logging in or not. Are you
really sure it's ever logging in? This is what a successful login
looks like:

When I examine the master info for my repeater, it shows Zeros all the way across the board. Is that good or bad? In MMDVM_Bridge.ini it is again showing connecting and disconnecting every 2 minutes. Tweaking the master password again is not fixing that issue. Any hints very much appreciated. :) Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

passw1rd is just for the UK server, The generic password worldwide is ; passw0rd 0 = zero.

Re: Wires-X options
We have Wires-X to XLX working with a RF bridge. That’s the problem with proprietary protocols.

Things have improved. We have a great growing network. Maybe you would think differently if what they did happened to you. And you only know a small part of it. I am not going there because I am the better man. I am not the only one that feels this way. Have a great day and thanks for your input 73 Robert

Your statement is untrue. BM does share some things. Just not everything someone might want. Being a professional victim does no one any good. Get over your hurt feelings and try to be the bigger man. Maybe, just maybe if you stop complaining about how BM "mistreated" you, things would improve. I have been a HAM for 50 years and have seen this BS come and go. Years from now, no one will care who wronged who. Steve N4IRS

Snide remarks to an accepted answer by a knowledgeable person isn't very friendly, either. That's the reason I locked the topic.
Just my two cents. Steve KC1AWV
