Adrian,

You have a better chance of a informed answer at <https://dvswitch.groups.io/g/HBlink> This is the subgroup for HBlink.

Re: Dashboard #best_practices

Steve N4IRS

Install a web server with php support
add the dashboard files into /var/www/html
The dashboard is a modification of the ysfreflector dashboard. You may find more complete instructions there. When I get time, I'll build apt packages for the reflectors and dashboards.

Steve,

With your help got the "connect to Allstar node at boot time" working.

Edits only needed inside  rpt.conf
(below what is working for me now)

Under
[46141]
startup_macro_delay=20      ;this turns out to be very important
startup_macro = *52

[macro]
2=*7345479#      ;this is what I added  trying to get my Allstar 46141 to connect to Node 45479
;1 = *32011#
;2 = *12001*12011*12043*12040*12050*12060*12009*12002*12003*12004*1113*12030#
;3 = *32001*32011*32050*32030*32060#

In rpt.conf  under    ; Mandatory Command Codes   ;I added

73= ilink,13      ;this is intended to be a permanent connection

The trick above prevents me from (at boot time)
Having to login as  dvswitch
Then run   sudo als-menu
The go to:  5 in the Menu   (ASL Asterisk CLI)
then type     CLI*>    rpt fun 46141 *345479

Thanks!   73s

The DVSwitch Server dashboard is in a apt package for buster. dvswitch-dashboard
The reflector dashboard is here <https://github.com/N4IRS/MMDVM-Install/tree/master/P25/P25Reflector-Dashboard> When I get time I'll make it a stand alone git repository.

Anything is possible as far as breaking something. I can't say other then backup.
The P25Reflector dashboard shows you what is happening on the reflector.
The DVSwitch dashboard is more MMDVM_Bridge centric.

What will the P25Reflector dashboard give me and what will the DVSwitch dashboard give?

Are you looking for a P25Reflector dashboard or adding the DVSwitch Server dashboard?

hmmm,
I think this should be:
2=*345479#      ;this is what I added  trying to get my Allstar 46141 to connect to Node 45479

Unless You have *73 defined as something else

MMDVM Bridge and YSF Reflector don´t talk to each other

Uli

Thats a special one for Steve...
I´m debugging a MMDVM_Bridge and YSF Reflector combo.
Worked before but not anymore.

I have another installation of a MMDVM_Bridge and YSF Reflector combo that works fine. The only difference is: on my setup MMDVM_Bridge and YSF Reflector are running on two separate raspberrys
Here, both share one machine. I have carefully checked the MMDVM_Bridge.ini and DVSwitch.ini  and they seem to be ok.

I have compared the MMDVM and YSF Reflector live logs of my setup with the single raspi setup and I can see Incoming connections to the YSF Reflector and also from BM TG to the MMDVM_bridge, they look fine and identical to the ones on my setup.
The differrence is: The two beasts don´t want to talk to each other..
I see the incoming connection in the livelog of the YSF Reflector but nothing in the MMDVM Bridge log and vice versa.

How do I get the two to talk together?

regards

Uli
