Re: Bridge

Your configuration will look like this:

DMR Network <-> MMDVM_Bridge_DMR <-> Analog_Bridge_DMR <-> Analog_Bridge_P25 <-> MMDVM_Bridge_P25 <-> P25Gateway <-> P25 Network
MMDVM_Bridge_DMR and MMDVM_Bridge_P25 are a single instance of MMDVM_Bridge
Analog_Bridge_DMR and Analog_Bridge_P25 are 2 instances of Anallog_Bridge

1: stop ALL dvswitch services.
2: Setup MMDVM_Bridge to connect the the DMR network. Verify it is connecting and passing traffic. Run it in the foreground so you can see the traffic. Only enable the DMR mode and DMR Networking.
    You will need to set a static TG in selfcare if using BM.

In Analog_Bridge.ini:
[USRP]
address = 127.0.0.1                     ; IP address of USRP partner (Allstar/Asterisk or another Analog_Bridge)
txPort = 31001                          ; Transmit USRP frames on this port
rxPort = 31001                          ; Listen for USRP frames on this port
usrpAudio = AUDIO_UNITY                 ; Digital -> Analog (AUDIO_UNITY, AUDIO_USE_GAIN, AUDIO_USE_AGC)
usrpGain = 1.10                         ; Gain factor when usrpAudio = AUDIO_USE_GAIN (0.0 to 5.0) (1.0 = AUDIO_UNITY)
usrpAGC = -20,10,100                    ; Set the agc threshold (db), slope (db) and decay (ms)
tlvAudio = AUDIO_UNITY                  ; Analog -> Digital (AUDIO_UNITY, AUDIO_USE_GAIN, AUDIO_BPF)
tlvGain = 0.35                          ; Gain factor when tlvAudio = AUDIO_USE_GAIN (0.0 to 5.0) (1.0 = AUDIO_UNITY)

Np problem. It brings up a issue. It is a configuration problem to have the mode enabled but not the networking. MMDVM_Bridge should exit gracefully and try to give the user an idea of the problem.
We have a few tweaks happening to the next version of MMDVM_Bridge We can try to cover that in the future.

Thanks, Steve

This is good, getting closer.
Please check you MMDVM_Bridge.ini
Verify this is set, if not set it to 1

[DMR Network]
Enable=1

Please retest, if you are still getting the error, post your MMDVM_Bridge.ini

Thanks,
Steve

OK,
So it's not segfaulting with -v good!
Please make sure MMDVM_Bridge is not running in the background.
systemctl stop mmdvm_bridge
verify it's stopped
ps ax | grep MMDVM

If it's stopped
cd /opt/MMDVM_Bridge
./MMDVM_Bridge MMDVM_Bridge.ini

Show the output.

2:  What hardware / OS are you running on?

Would anyone in the group with a VPS Cloud installation of Debian 10 Buster running a current DvSwitch install be able to point their VPS  Cloud Server to the domain name, and port # of my Zum Ambe Server and let me know how the audio sounds on Dstar and Dmr?
Thanks, Ken

As far as I can tell, this is an individual who is in over their head with the network port arrangements. Something isn't plumbed together correctly and it's not working.

I would insist that we get a diagram from them describing what they think is being configured. If all they provide is log files, that might not be enough to understand/comprehend the data flows properly.

My two cents, anyway.

I strongly suggest that you spend a bit of time diagramming this in order to make sense of the interconnection between services. I scanned the thread and haven't seen you provide this, and looking at screenshots and copy-pasted logs is not helping right now (i.e. very, VERY hard to read and follow).

DV Switch is not an off-the-shelf product that you can just plug in and expect it to work flawlessly. You as an individual user also need to step up and make it a priority to learn how UDP networking functions in the real world. Your questions and responses have shown that you're not quite there (though I'm open to the possibility that you're actually very experienced with UDP and just want someone to do the work for you). UDP sockets can be confusing; go slow and take your time.

This is not to be mean-spirited, but you can't reasonably expect someone else to configure your software for you. All we can do is offer suggestions.
