James,
I installed the files via the repo on one my Ubuntu x64 systems w/ no issues. The software runs great.

Steve,
Like you, I prefer using a Debian based system, I just wanted to point out it can be done as long as someone makes sure they install any dependancies. I’ve done the installs now on

Not necessarily. I have not tested on other ARM distributions yet. My board "collection" is down right now for relocation. What distribution are you interested in running?

Re: New to this group - Interested in DMR to analog linking.
Hi John and Steve,
I have no specific hardware in mind. That is what I want to learn from you guys. What would be the best hardware and/or software to make this work. At a bare minimum what we want

Re: DMR-MARC changes
Good to hear since I still have connections to DMR-MARC. I'm actually a neutral party since I see the flaws in both systems and have no compunction about pointing them out.

"Some of you may already know that DMR-MARC is no longer registering users or repeaters"
Maybe we are just interpreting that sentence differently :)
Some may say you are referring to the organization

Re: New to this group - Interested in DMR to analog linking (via XLX)
...and my question is accurate, too ;-) The main stack is in HBLink. If HBLink can talk to XLX, then HB_Bridge will talk, too.
And it seems the answer to that question is : NO.

Actually, my diagram is accurate. HB_Bridge is the program. Like all of the HBLink programs, HB_Bridge sub-classses hblink.py

The UDRC-II is not a vocoder. It is a radio interface. As far as I know, NW Digital not longet makes the PiDV.

George what HW are you planning to use for your (RPi 3 based ??) Allstar to DMR Gateway?
I've read that the NW Digital - Thumb DV can work...I'd rather use their Digital UDRC-II board which

If I understand well, a more accurate diagram would be :
AlLStarLink <---> Analog_Bridge <--> HB_Bridge <--> HBLink <--> ??? XLX ???

Hi all,
In such a setup, can HB_Bridge connect to a XLX reflector instead of direct BM ?

Re: YSF Reflector bridging with BM.
I think you should run one bridge for a while and get used to how things work.
