Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
Ok, so let me see if I got it correct. So basically all 3 of them use the same port numbers just changing the TX and RX?

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
Yes
Just like connecting any of the partners, TX to RX and RX to TX (or words to that effect) Analog_Bridge [AMBE_AUDIO] stanza points to the values in the HB_Bridge [DEFAULTS] stanza.

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
Okay, making progress! I am stumped on the last piece.
I am trying to figure out the connection between ipsc_bridge and hb_bridge.
On ipsc_bridge, I have the dmrlink.cfg connecting to the cbridge

I like separate directories at first. Makes it easy to keep things visible. Yes, I uses systemd.

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
Thank you!
What is your recommendation on running 2 analog bridges? Do I make a new directory and copy the analog_bridge files into it? How can I run 2 at a time? Do I use systemctl?

Walk through it one module at a time. You should see the traffic at each step.

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
Success! Do I need to change anything else under [AMBE_AUDIO] for Analog_bridge_2?
I: 2018-07-17 01:39:11.007 Begin TX: src=3148242 rpt=0 dst=8207 slot=2 cc=0
D: 2018-07-17 01:39:12.824 End TX

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
You need to make sure the P25 TX and RX ports in DVSwitch.ini point to the proper ports in Analog_Bridge.ini

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
Okay, trying to take this in small steps and not fry my noodle.
I am working from P25 reflector to c bridge. I have the p25 reflector up and running. I can see my voice traffic on the P25Gateway log

Re: C Bridge to P25 Reflector
IPSC_Bridge and HB_Bridge sub-class dmrlink and hblink. In other words, dmrlink and hblink are the network stack for IPSC_Bridge and HB_Bridge. So you configure hblink.cfg and hblink.cfg.

C Bridge to P25 Reflector
All,
I am trying to setup a bridge between my C Bridge port and my P25 Reflector. When looking at older post I see reference to IPSC_Bridge and HB_bridge. Are those no longer applicable? Do I just use

That’s what they say, but you can’t get a coordination for narrow from anywhere... and Yaesu doesn’t actually publish the emissions info

From Yaesu.
V/D Mode (Simultaneous Voice/Data Communication Mode) (Narrow)
Half of the bandwidth is used for voice signal with error correction. The transceiver uses powerful error

I’d be curious if it’s actually narrowband, I’ve heard repeatedly that it’s not really narrow.

Re: YSFn and YSFw
So if I build a YSF reflector, will both modes work with it? My end goal it to connect it to my P25 reflector

Re: YSFn and YSFw
Yes,
YSFn is narrow. I do not remember what Yaesu calls it. It uses a AMBE Vocoder (DMR, NXDN). YSFw is wide. It ises a IMBE Vocoder (P25)
