Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
My apologies, I installed analog_bridge which had a dependency of dvswitch-base (which obviously is not the same as dvswitch).
Sorry…

Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
Correction md380-emu is installed with the dvswitch package. You can also install with apt-get install md380-emu

Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
after installation I get these in /opt directory
Analog_Bridge, dmrlink, dmr_utils
I don't even see MMDVM_Bridge
Am I doing something wrong?

Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
If you installed the dvswitch package or Analog_Bridge it should have installed md380-emu.

Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
Hey Steve,
Thanks for all you do. I tried installing DVSwitch on a pi with ASL. How do I get the MD380-EMU into the install and get it running like Russel has it setup?

Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
Right, but you can’t have a dongle in the cloud, so how is it doing the AMBE encoding / decoding?

Re: DMR to AllStar Bridge
From the report, it's transcoding from Analog to DMR but not from DMR to Analog.

In this case, since you’re running in the cloud, what is doing the vocoder transcoding?

I"m back home and just gave it a try again. It's not working from DMR to AllStar.
Here is a screenshot from DMR hoseline. My audio is going out over the hoseline network fine but not on the allstar

Re: Allstar <-> DMR Audio
No problem. I have an item on my list to improve the error handling (log messages at the very least) for this as I can see it will be a reoccurring issue.
I also have a different way of invoking

That was it, the emulator wasn't installed. After installing it and restarting everything, audio is good!
Thanks!
