This is how ASl connects to Analog_Bridge.

Re: Rebuilding the Node
Jeff Lehman, N8ACL
When I had this same situation, what I did was setup USRP on the
ASL VPS to point to the IP address and ports on the YSF VPS and
then ran the YSF reflector, AB and MB on the YSF VPS. It worked
flawlessly and I was able to run a DMR bridge with AB/MB on the
ASL VPS and YSF on the separate VPS and not overlap or have
decoder issues. I ran each bridge on their own private nodes, but
this was prior to DVSwitch Mobile. But if you wanted the YSF
reflector full time connected to the ASL node, this would work
great. On 1/3/20 1:58 PM, Tito Lopez wrote:

Re: Rebuilding the Node
You can run the node as a HUB and connect to it from DVSM as a ASL
client.

Re: Just collecting Ideas right now
I'm sure there are commercial options available for this but as a
ham, Build a ASL server. Add a node radio interface for each radio
you want to transceive (single frequency only without more
complexity)

Run DVSM on Android phones and tablets. (you can have more then one connected client at a time) Run iaxrpt on Windows machines. Steve N4IRS

Read My mind!!!.
Ok I pulled the trigger on rebuilding the node. Now I will run this new node strictly for ASL<->YSF connecting to an existing ysf reflector hosted on a different vps location/provider. Do i Need to run USRP in ASL to use DVSwitch mobile ? or would just run the node as just a HUB?

Just collecting Ideas right now
I have more than a year for our new public safety building. We have our own room just outside of the EOC. The conference room is in a different part of the building. I wasn't allowed to place coax into that area but I did get ( should get ) atleast 2 LAN drops in that room when an event is activated. I'm thinking how I want to approach this. Voip on a laptop or tablet if Im in that area to allow me to connect to the radio(s) in my radio room. This just brings up the question how others are doing it today. right now I'm looking at analog FM , P25 is my other option in the EOC. -- Michael Lussier AE4ML Orange County ARES Emergency Coordinator W5YI Volunteer Coordinator CVE #32761 “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it” Winston Churchill "We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the law breaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions." ~ Ronald Reagan

When you say one radio stanza, do you mean you have a radio connected in that stanza. Let me answer it this way, you can only have 1 rxchannel per stanza. This is OK: rxchannel = dahdi/pseudo ; No radio (hub) ; rxchannel = SimpleUSB/usb_1999 ; SimpleUSB ; rxchannel = Pi/1 ; Raspberry Pi PiTA ; rxchannel = Radio/usb_1999 ; USBRadio (DSP) ; rxchannel = Dahdi/1 ; PCI Quad card ; rxchannel = Beagle/1 ; BeagleBoard ; rxchannel = USRP/127.0.0.1:34001:32001 ; GNU Radio interface USRP This is NOT OK ; rxchannel = dahdi/pseudo ; No radio (hub) rxchannel = SimpleUSB/usb_1999 ; SimpleUSB ; rxchannel = Pi/1 ; Raspberry Pi PiTA ; rxchannel = Radio/usb_1999 ; USBRadio (DSP) ; rxchannel = Dahdi/1 ; PCI Quad card ; rxchannel = Beagle/1 ; BeagleBoard rxchannel = USRP/127.0.0.1:34001:32001 ; GNU Radio interface USRP Hope this helps, 73, Steve N4IRS

Re: YSF List does not update ??
If you are running the current Analog_bridge and dvswitch.sh from github: With your DVSM connected As root cd /opt/Analog_Bridge ./dvswitch.sh collectProcessPushDataFiles This will update the TG and reflector lists on DVSM. 73, Steve N4IRS

We have set up and configure a new YSF for our group a week ago.
The YSF named US YSF MIAMI is showing on the Pi-Star software list as well in the DV4mini, openSPOT, etc. list. My question, How long it takes to show on the DVSwitch mobile application?. Thanks for all the great of this group. Marcelo/KC4GYB/73's

IP has not changed.. but I don't see the packets coming in on the outside of my firewall when I TCPDUMP there so I dunno what the heck

I have tried it both ways.. same results unfortunately... I don't even know if all of the packets are making it, I think that there is something funky in-between happening to the packets.
