Re: Audio_Bridge Levels

Steve N4IRS

Daniel,
Unity is supposed to be a one for one. No adjustment
AGC is not recommended at this time.

Which leaves us with AUDIO_USE_GAIN

If you need to adjust the DMR -> ASL audio, change:
aslAudio = AUDIO_USE_GAIN

agcGain = 1.0
This should be the same level as unity

agcGain = 2.0
This should be twice as loud as unity

agcGain = 0.5
This should be half as loud as unity

=========================================

If you need to adjust the ASL -> DMR audio, change:
dmrAudio = AUDIO_USE_GAIN

dmrGain = 1.0
This should be the same level as unity

dmrGain = 2.0
This should be twice as loud as unity

dmrGain = 0.5
This should be half as loud as unity

AGC
Gain

For each of these three filters, is there an explanation of any parameters that can be set to adjust levels?  I see that there is an agcGain parameter.  Does that affect levels for both USE_AUDIO_GAIN as well as USE_AUDIO_AGC?  Are there other parameters available not in the sample config?

Let me spin up the hotspot here and see what happens. I also see that the production network isn't connected to 740 either.

Ah, that's a little different. ;)
So, If I remember, I tested DVSwitch Mobile on your XLX reflector a while ago. I want to retest since you have been working with Daniel. What is the option= value I should set in the [DMR Network} stanza for module H?

Someone who has download and installed the new binary and has 2 way audio, please do the following:

cd /opt/MMDVM_Bridge

./MMDVM_Bridge –v

Please share the results here.

Download AB and MB look in bin folder, the file you need for your system is in there. Simply rename and replace old file.
Latest files are here. https://github.com/DVSwitch

The repo doesn't have the newest build available for it yet, I assume so that we tinkerers can play with it before it gets called stable and put in the repo.

Re: 1 Way Audio (XLX DMR to ASL)

This is what an installation 2 days ago from the repo gave me:

./MMDVM_Bridge -v

MMDVM_Bridge version 20180423 git #9cdea41

So clearly not the updated version. But why?

Or is there a different update process?
