Re: DVSwitch dashboard RX Monitor audio

Yes, this was a clean install on a cloud server as I re-imaged the server with Debian 10 amd64 buster prior to the installation following your original Allstar / DVSwitch-Server installation procedure from 1-29-2021.  The installation went without any problems and the Allstar and DVSwitch bridge from the Allstar node to our hblink3 master hub works perfectly.

I assume the server is not behind a firewall. Is this a fresh install? Fresh install of Analog_Bridge.ini?

Did you look at the proxy.log in /var/log/dvswitch?

What I cannot get to work is RX Monitor audio through my computer speakers when by pressing the RX Monitor button on the dashboard which turns green.  No audio is heard from QSO's.  I did look at the dashboard config.php file and the setting RXMONITOR = "YES".

Is there another setting I am missing or any ideas?

Reloading password

Pete Fierro <overthetop52@...>

  Hey guys

    Any reason as to why I need to keep reloading my password in brandmeister selfcare hotspot security once in awhile?

    Is there a character entry limit I may have exceeded?

    Running ASL to DMR bridge on a rpi2.

Thanks

Re: P25 to DMR/XLX

Kevin N9OIG

Steve I had DVSwitch all working for my IPSC2 server P25 to DMR all works prefect. We just added an XLX reflector connection in and DMR passes to XLX and YSF both ways DMR and YSF passes to P25 correctly but P25 comes up the callsign  shows then ysf side just drops. I tried connecting the DVswitch directly to the XLX reflector I can get it to connect but I connect get it to specify a module. I still don't know if this will even solve my P25 to YSF issue.
Ill include the MMDVM Bridge stanza

[DMR Network]

Enable=1

Address=66.42.113.132

Port=62030

Password=passw0rd

ReloadTime=60

Slot=1

TG=6

Base=64000

Relink=60

Debug=0

Id=3155059

UserControl=1

Options=XLX:4001

Re: Unable to connect to Brandmeister using HBlink #hblink

Edited

I think the issue is if you are configured for repeater (dual slot) and have the transmit and receive frequency the same (simplex) BM will not allow the connect.
This is to block misconfigured duplex hotspots.

Brandmeister don't allow logins from HBLink and actively drop them, at least on the masters I have tried.

Hi ve6gcd
may i know what is that mean ? "As soon as I changed it to the repeater frequency pair in HBlink I was able to get in" ,i have same problem and i sure i set the same password between BM Self card and hblink

I'll clog it a little more with, "no problem" ;)

I would like to add P25 to XLX I've looked through this mailing list and the consensus seems to be I need the following:

<P25_Reflector> <-> <P25 gateway> <-><MMDVM_Bridge> <-> <Analog_Bridge> <-> <Analog_Bridge> <-> <MMDVM_Bridge> <-> <XLXD>

Is this still the case? What function does the Analog_Bridge provide in this case?

Re: P25 to DMR/XLX

<Analog_Bridge> <-> <Analog_Bridge>

This creates a transcoder. In your case P25 <-> DMR or whatever mode you are running on XLXD.

Re: New Install of DVSwich

/usr/local/dvs.
The install adds that directory to the path. Logout / login would also have it take effect.

Still wonder where the script was hiding. Could not find it.
