Also, this shows where the connection hits xlxd and the bridge tries to talk to the appropriate module for my test:

Stanza follows.  I have tried using the Module=N nomenclature in the stanza as well as without it as I have set the default propertly in the XLXHosts.txt file.

[XLX Network]
Enabled=1
File=/usr/local/etc/XLXHosts.txt
Port=62030
Password=passw0rd
ReloadTime=60
Slot=2
TG=6
Base=64000
Startup=020
Relink=60
Debug=0
UserControl=1
Module=E

Alright, paste the XLX stanza from DMRGateway. Are you selecting the module in DMRG? I have these lines at the bottom of XLX Network in DMRGateway.ini

#Override default module for startup reflector
Module=H

MMDVM_Bridge shows that it is sending the data to TG 6 TS 2 as intended.  But it doesn’t seem to arrive in a way that xlxd can figure out what to do with the data.

It should go in the DMR Network stanza. However, I can't seem to get it to work just yet. Easier for me to use DMRGateway right now in production til I figure out the best way to go direct.

Try using

Options="StartRef=4xxx"

in MMDVM_Bridge.ini in order to select the XLX module, then whatever TG you use on that module should go in AB. I know a lot of hotspots call for TG 6 when using XLX with DMR.

I'm going to try this as well on the test network.

Santu,

Did you ever solve this?  I'm having the exact same issue. (although it's DExtra instead of DCS)

I made sure that my call is appearing instead of the DMR ID in the metadata, as Steve and Mike have both mentioned.

Exactly like you, xlxd sees a packet, but doesn't open the stream.

Header from MB:
DSRP ......N8QQ   GN8QQ   BCQCQCQ  N8QQ.   DVSWE\

xlxd log shows:
Jun 28 18:44:56 radio xlxd: DExtra packet (56)

...and doesn't open the stream.

Re: 1 Way Audio (XLX DMR to ASL)

Steve KC1AWV

So, going direct to XLX with MB using the Options line in the stanza. XLX does receive the options, but does nothing with them as far as I can see.

Jun 28 17:45:56 xlx740 xlxd: New client KC1AWV  B at 45.32.193.119 added with protocol DMRMmdvm
Jun 28 17:45:56 xlx740 xlxd: DMRmmdvm configuration packet from KC1AWV  B at 45.32.193.119
Jun 28 17:45:56 xlx740 xlxd: DMRmmdvm options packet from KC1AWV  B at 45.32.193.119
Jun 28 18:12:59 xlx740 xlxd: DMRmmdvm packet (9)
Jun 28 18:14:45 xlx740 xlxd: DMRmmdvm client KC1AWV  B keepalive timeout

DMRGateway works differently, where you have a Module line and that's what is used to choose the XLX module. If you go MB <-> DMRG <-> XLX then use TG 6 in AB.

And actually, I think that the TG to XLX doesn't matter. Right now, ERDN Test has AB set to TG 2. the HBL3 rules show that XLX TG 9 is what's on that bridge to AB. When I call from AB, my radio shows that it's hearing TG 6. It's a tangled mish-mash.

Oof, sorry I am mobile and cannot see screenshots. Switched to the laptop now :)

As Steve said, you've got an error being dumped by bridge.py that should be looked into.

Next, you've got a line after call start that says "Call not routed to TGID 9, target active or in group hangtime..." which means that when the call from TGIF started, a call from XLX was started, already running, or just finished on the XLX side.
