Usually, that is because you have MMDVM_Bridge also running in the background.
systemctl stop mmdvm_bridge

It’s was changed awhile back to work correctly the RP2C when selected as the modem. Even does a virtual Nic to allow the pi-star to talk to the RP2C when both are plugged into the same LAN network “switch or router”. It’s very user friendly to setup now thanks to Andrew. All settings are done from the configuration page.

So if DVS has the same gateway software as Pi Star (?) it might work. So the question is: Does the DVS DSTAR Gateway support repeater type 1 (meaning the RP2C interface)?

This is of interest to me since (maybe) I could replace my Pi Star gateway with DVS and its DSTAR Gateway and then have bridging options in the same box.

Just a quick update, The HTML Client (hUC) and the Analog_Reflector have gone into beta test as of today. The beta team will now start trying to break it and comment on features etc. I do not have a time frame as to when this goes to full release. We will need to package it for installation and document how to install, manage and use.

I want to set up a Link between HBLink and a room Wires-X from Yeasu in C4FM. Is there a possibility to set up the type of editing.

Thank you, this is just the type of answer I was hoping for!

I'll give pi-star a try!  With luck, the W7YH icom repeater that has been off the network for about 5 years will be back online soon!

Setup with the ASL 1.01 image. Follow the readme to pin the kernel and headers. Once you have ASL configured the way you want it, you can add DVSwitch Server with:
As root:
cd /tmp
wget http://dvswitch.org/buster
chmod +x buster
./buster
apt-get install dvswitch-server

Follow this to setup DVSwitch Server <http://www.dvswitch.org/DVSwitch_install.pdf>

I was going to answer that but held off. No, you can not install DVSwitch Server (easily) on HAMVOIP. For now, your best bet is either 2 Pi or a RPi3.

Re: DVMEGA

Scott,
Yes, you can install DVSwitch Server with the DVstick30 on the Raspberry Pi 4 by following the DVSwitch Installation and User Guide v1.61 document.
Adding AllStar becomes a problem on that system. ASL 1.01 does not run on a Raspberry Pi 4. I can tell you that AllStar for the Raspberry Pi 4 is being worked on.

There are not too many people running remote separated AllStar / DVSwitch. Most port issues are within a bridge. It's always RX to TX, TX to RX
Glad to hear you got it working. I'm good on sleep, pretty much 11 PM to 5 AM 7 days a week.

As I read the forum posts, I am really thinking that there are others who are stuck on the same problem.

Thank you very much.  I have been struggling with this for a couple weeks, ever since I moved to an off-site server for the DVSwitch application.
