Thanks. That is a typical problem I have, over engineering things. I’ll try this.

DSTAR to DMR, getting started
I'm trying to figure out how this works... Does this require someone at Brandmeister to configure an interlink once the XLX reflector is up and running? The page found here isn't particularly clear ab

BM to XLX via MMDVM_Bridge - Doc version 2.0
I'm a bit confused here. I have set up XLXD for DSTAR, and I want to bridge this to a Brandmeister talk group. I tried doing this just with ambed, XLXD and MMDVM_Bridge with a static Brandmeister talk

I have already done that, but as others have stated, that might take a while.

Wouldn't I need DMRGateway for the TG rewrite, or is that possible with MB? If it is, I didn't see a directive for that in the INI file.

Wires-X options
I, too, would love to find a way to connect a XLX reflector to Wires-X, and have not heard of this being done, only YSF.

Hi Steve: OK, thanks for that. I'll probably just go with the first option for ease-of-setup. Maybe I'll try it with a soft vocoder before committing to more hardware, since the XLX reflector is alrea

It's been a long time since I've done anything with Asterisk (I used to manage some phone systems years ago,) but I don't recall being able to easily process audio without making changes to source. AS

Yes, I've also thought of high pass/low pass filtering into and out of ASL. Ideally, I'd use a chain that looks something like this: DMR > hpf/lpf > limiter > AB > ASL Throw an expander after the hpf/

I forgot to mention that the XLX reflector is connected to DMR through an interlink, if that matters.

Steve: I understand the concept of the shin. That's a bit beyond my skill set at the moment, but something like that which could host LADSPA plugins would be really cool. Thanks for the tips on dynami

AMBEserver on rPI for Analog_Bridge
Hi: A while back, I saw something on this group to the affect of changing timing to make the ThumbDV+AMBEserver combo work better on a Raspberry Pi, but I can't find it now after searching the archive

Got it working, but audio is extremely jittery (pretty much useless) between the remote AMBEserver and the Analog_Bridge. Latency is a very solid 3 MS across the internet between the box in my apartme

I did, and it was. FWIW, I also tried the dongle on another x86 machine running Debian with the same results. I have not yet tried everything locally on that machine.
