DMR to DSTAR
Is there a more simpler way to set up a transcode between a DStar REF and and DMR REF than by using the below method? ircddbgw--> Dummyrepeater--> Analog Bridge --> ASL <-- Analog_Bridge <-- DMR REF I

Steve, FYI... Jessie does not natively support this version of GLIBCXX with latest distro upgrade. I'm still working on the fix though you probably will figure it out a day before me. sysop@debian8:/o

Thanks. This seems to allow the binary and ini files to install. But, when running mmdvm-bridge I get the following error: sysop@debian8:/opt/MMDVM_Bridge$ sudo ./MMDVM_Bridge MMDVM_Bridge.ini ./MMDVM

Steve, How come I only see the binaries for analog bridge and mmdvm bridge after I do an apt-get remove then apt-get install? It seems the config .ini files were not installed in the /opt/analog_bridg

Analog_Bridge to D-Star audio levels
Steve,It's used quite a bit more than you think. You don't have to look that hard on google or Yahoo to find examples. There is no easy way to go from DMR to D-Star so Analog_bridge is used. I guess y

I am trying to increase the audio amplitude from Allstar to dummyrepeater using Analog_Bridge. Besides Analog_Bridge.ini settings where can I do this? Thanks, Mike, AA9VI

" If DR and ASL are on the same machine, 127.0.0.1 is fine." This is what I am struggling with. If I change the Dummy to 127.0.0.1 it cannot talk to the ircddbgateway. Why? I followed Mike's link and

OK, I moved the Dummy (repeater 2) to port 20011 and the Hotspot repeater (repeater 1) to port 20012. Still, Dummy repeater will not relay any traffic if I use the IP address 127.0.0.1. None. If I use

So, the solution is to swap Repeater 1 and Repeater 2 on the gateway so Dummy is repeater 1 and Hotspot repeater is repeater 2? I had set Dummy to use port 20012 on Repeater 2. It's easy to make the s

If I put 127.0.0.1 in the Edit--> Preferences--> Network --> Local address no traffic will flow to the dummy repeater. The transmit button will not send traffic to another repeater/hotspot on the LAN.
