Audio stutter on DV3000u

Thanks Steve , I was  also  hitting a  wall about  this problem .  I will highlight this one in my book.

A new installation  from scratch  was having  latency_timer at 16 .

Do you see any reason why my original installation  after update suddenly showed that problem also..

Steve,

That seems to have fixed it.

Scott,
Hi and welcome. You may be experiencing latency on the USB port. Try this as root (or sudo -s) :

# This will tell the current setting:
cat /sys/bus/usb-serial/devices/ttyUSB0/latency_timer

# Set it to 1
echo 1 > /sys/bus/usb-serial/devices/ttyUSB0/latency_timer

# Check it again
cat /sys/bus/usb-serial/devices/ttyUSB0/latency_timer

Retest DMR -> ASL.

I’ve just installed DVSwitch on a Raspberry Pi 3. I am using an original DV3000u stick (230400 Baud). When I go from Allstar to DMR it sounds fine. But when I go from DMR to allstar it stutters. If you would like to hear what I mean the system is currently on allstar node 27771 and Brandmeister TG 31340.

Any ideas?
